The game ends when one of the six horses win the race,
not when you have run out of balls.
However,

AFTER BALL 5 - You will not be able to win any

Before the 5th ball drains, you can win credits if another horse
wins the race based on your score.

You will only win 1 credit if your horse wins the
race.

AFTER BALL 8- THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER SCORING
Your score stays as is. Your goal from here on is
only to win the race with your horse so you can win
a free game.

IF YOUR HORSE DOES NOT WIN THE RACE-
The game ends when any horse wins the race, including
the others. You will get no score bonus. However,
you can win free credits if the race ends before the

        PLAYFIELD RULES AND SCORING

PLUNGER SHOTS-
Very Very Important in this game. Perfect your plunger
shots and you will be very successful!

YOUR HOSS HORSE SELECT- Nags will randomly select a horse
for you from the six horses at the start of the game.

THE IMPORTANT & FAMOUS CENTER HORSE CHANGER PLUNGER SHOT
Nags will randomly select another horse for you during
gameplay if you hit this lane. It will not pick the
horse you just had but one of the other 5. Use this
wisely- It's not good to hit this if your horse is
about to win the race. If your horse is doing horribly
and you want to get lucky and try for another horse,
maybe the one that is just about to win..then aim
for this shot!!!

ODDS TOP LANE- Hitting this will advance all the
odd numbered horses. If one or more odd horses are
one notch from the finish line..then Nags will randomly
move only one.

EVENS TOP LANE- Hitting this will advance all the
even numbered horses. If one of more even horses
are one notch from the finish line..then Nags will
randomly move only one.

THE BLUE 50/10 LANES- These outer lanes will score
10 unless the 50 light is lit in which case you will
score 50 points. Every time a bumper is hit or a
ball is drained thru a horse lane, the state of the
50 pt light will change. Off to On. On to Off.

THE SIMULATED SPINNING BUMPER DISK!!-
(Visual pinball could not move a disk in the playfield
so instead the horse color bumpers are moving in
a virtual way simulating the spinning disk)
HITTING A COLORED BUMPER WILL MOVE THAT CORESPONDING
HORSE ONE NOTCH!
If you hit a Bumper it is worth 10 pts.
Time your plunger shots and
shots off the flippers to try to hit the colored
bumper you are aiming for!

THE FLIPPERS-keep the ball in play and are used to
aim for certain bumpers.

THE HORSE 1-6 DRAIN HOLES- A drain in a horse's
colored/numbered hole will move that corresponding
horse 1 notch in the race. You will score 10 points
on a ball that drains in a lane of one of the other horses.
You will score 50 points on a ball that drains in your
horse's lane!

STRATEGYS- What do you do? Try to let another horse
win within 5 balls and get alot of points at the
same time to try for free credits? Try to let the
race last longer to gain more points but lose out
on credits? or Have your Hoss win as quick as possible
to gain tons of credits?
Or combine around the ball numbers 4-6 to Try to have
your HORSE WIN while you ALSO pick up GOOD POINTS from
the table and a COUPLE OF CREDITS.
It depends if your goal is POINTS, CREDITS, F-U-N, or some type
of combination! It is up to you!!!!
